THE WORKER’S LIST is available by clicking here. Please help where you are needed. Ho-Down baking dates are also listed. Even if your name is not listed, your help would be greatly appreciated as we need all the hands we can get!
“BIG TICKET” RAFFLE PADS were given out or mailed. To comply with gambling regulations, we need to account for every ticket – whether sold or unsold. Please return sold ticket stubs AND unsold tickets. No one under the age of 18 can be a prize winner. Additional tickets can be requested from Tim and Crystal Piper at 507-291-1180 or stop by the parish office on Fridays.
STRONG HELPERS ARE NEEDED for tent and stand set-up on Friday, Aug. 17
at 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 8 a.m. Please come to help! CHAIRPEOPLE, please be at church on Saturday morning to set up your stand and bring others to help.
EACH FAMILY IS ASKED TO BRING 4-DOZEN KOLACKY to the Bake Sale the morning of the Ho-Down, packaged by the dozen and labeled. Kolacky is a top seller; if you are unable to bring kolacky then please bring a donation of $34 or the equivalent in other baked goods.
HOMEMADE CANDY FOR THE BAKE SALE should be brought to the church
basement by Saturday, Aug. 18 at 9:00 a.m. Candy will be packaged at that time.
***DONATE TO THE SILENT AUCTION (NEW THIS YEAR!) – Example of items include homemade wood crafts, antiques, pictures, and theme baskets (kitchen supplies, holiday items, hair products, crafts, etc.) All items should be new/like new condition. Bring to Ho-Down the morning of. Contact Dorothy Tupy at 952-758-3750 or Bridget Pieper at 507-744-2957 if you have questions or plan to donate. How does a silent auction work? Written bids will be accepted all day. Whoever has the last bid at 5:30 p.m. will then pay and take the item.

HELP US PREPARE FOR THE BAKE SALE:
- Bake sale set-up – Saturday, Aug. 18 at 9 a.m.
COUNTRY STORE ITEMS ARE NEEDED such as garden produce, crafts and
homemade canned goods, and clean, gently used items for the “used-a-bit”
area. If you have a larger item for the raffle to donate, please contact Vickie at
744-2176 or Jane at 744-2181 at least one week prior to the Ho-Down. Bring donations to the country store starting at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the Ho-Down.
