GRILLED PORK AND DUMPLINGS are coming to the Ho-Down! The parish council agreed to try out this new dinner which will be served in place of the chicken dinner this year. The dinner will be served with sauerkraut, gravy and dessert. Spread the word! This local dinner favorite will be served 11:30 a.m. until sold out. (Tickets not sold in advance.) COUNTRY STORE ITEMS ARE NEEDED such as garden produce, crafts and
homemade canned goods, and clean, gently used items for the “used-a-bit”
area. All items bought to the Country Store must be priced! If you have a
larger item for the raffle to donate, please contact Vickie at 744-2176 or Jane at
744-2181 at least one week prior to the Ho-Down.
PLEASE RETURN BIG TICKET STUBS AND UNSOLD TICKETS by putting them in the collection basket at Mass or turn them in a the Ho-Down. Extra tickets can be requested from Dennis and Kathy (952-758-3793) or Tim and Crystal (507-291-1180.) Please get donated prizes to the chairpeople ASAP.
CAKES OR CUPCAKES ARE NEEDED FOR THE CAKE WALK! Call Bridget at 744-2957 if able to. Bring cakes the kids’ games area on Ho-Down morning. (If necessary, cakes marked “cake walk” may be left in basement on Aug. 20.)
EACH FAMILY IS ASKED TO BRING 4-DOZEN KOLACKY to the Bake Sale, packaged by the dozen and labeled. Kolacky is a top seller at the Bake Sale; however, if you are unable to bring kolacky then please bring a donation of $32 or the equivalent in other baked goods. Items should be brought to the church basement before/after Masses on Aug. 20 or by 9 a.m. on Ho-Down morning.
