Through Baptism we are freed from sin and become members the Church. Baptisms are scheduled following 5 p.m. Mass on Saturdays and following 9 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Instruction is required for first-time parents. Stole fees for baptims are $25 (parishioners) and $50 (non-parishioners.)

- *Requirements for godparents:
  
  There is to be at least one male godparent and one female godparent.
  
  A godparent must:
  
  Be designated by the parents and have the aptitude and intention of fulfilling this role.
  
  Be over the age of 16.
  
  Be a confirmed Catholic who leads a life of faith.*
  
  Meet the qualifications of Church law for sponsorship.
  
  Not be the father or mother of the one to be baptized.
  
  *A baptized, non-Catholic MAY BE A GODPARENT if a Catholic who meets the requirements outlined above has been designed as the other sponsor.
