"Once I tried to read a cookbook put out in the 1920s by a parish in Shakopee. I was told it was simple and easy to understand, and I was excited to finally learn something about cooking. Parishioners across the Archdiocese are invited to participate in a prayer ministry for those affected by COVID-19. A vigil candle signifies a prayer coming into the light of God. Even as we go about our daily lives, the candle remains lit and symbolizes our desire to remain present to the Lord in prayer. During this time that our church is not open, you may send us a request to light a votive candle on your behalf. Call the parish office at 507-744-2823 or send an email to mhtveseli@gmail.com. Offerings are $0.25 for a 24-hour candle, and $2 for a 7-day candle. You need not pay right away, we will keep track and send you a statement later.
