The Lonsdale American Legion Auxiliary will be distributing paper poppies here the weekend of May 21/22 before Masses. These poppies are handmade by veterans; donations towards the program help veterans and their families. The poppy is a symbol on Memorial Day of the sacrifice made by our country’s veterans.
