Most Holy Trinity has two cemeteries in Veseli, St. John’s Cemetery and Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. Contact Fritz Smisek, Trustee at 507-744-2875 for more information regarding our parish cemeteries.

Cemetery Pricing and Fees (effective July 2012)

Lot Pricing:
Single Lot:     $400 parishioner/$800 non-parishioner
Double Lot:   $600 parishioner/$1200 non-parishioner

Marking Fees:
Recording and Site Locating:   $50 (due at time of purchase)
Site locating:   $50 (due at time of burial)

Maintenance Fees:
$200 parishioner/$400 non-parishioner (due at time of burial)

 

Cemetery Policy (updated November 2016)

  • In the event of a cremation burial:
    • Concrete burial vault/box is required.
    • Standard lot fees shall apply.
    • Standard fees for maintenance and marking shall apply.
  • In the event of a casket burial:
    • Concrete burial vault/box is required.
    • Standard lot fees shall apply.
    • Standard fees for maintenance and marking shall apply.
  • A “2nd Right of Interment” will be granted based on the following expectations:
    • Concrete burial/vault box is required.
    • 50% lot price (due at time of burial, based on applicable price schedule at time of burial).
    • All standard maintenance and marking fees will apply.
  • We are not responsible for items left at gravesites.
  • Flowers and plants are permitted only in vases that are part of a monument or in vases with removable stands that are inserted into the monument foundation. Statues, vigil lights and other items are allowed only if they are a part of the monument or inserted into the monument foundation.
  • Artificial flowers, plants, grave decorations and flowers can be displayed from May through August. All flowers, plants and grave decorations must be removed by September 1st. All items will be removed that are left after this date.
  • No permanent planting of flowers, shrubs or trees.
  • Glass objects or containers are NOT permitted.
  • No landscaping.
  • “Shepherd’s crook” style hangers are NOT permitted.
  • Items may be removed without notice if they are an obstruction to maintenance.
  • In sections where a monument is to be set on a hillside, all sides of the top of the foundation will be level with the ground. On sides where this is not possible, the 4″ concrete collar will slope from the bottom of the base of the monument to the lot line. There will be no sharp corners or sudden drop-offs.
