Parishioners are welcome to volunteer in the following roles:
- Eucharistic minister - Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion assist Father John in distributing Communion at weekend Masses. Training is necessary. Volunteers are on the schedule about once/month.
- Lector - Lectors read the Mass readings and prayers of the faithful. Those who have received confirmation are invited to lector. Volunteers are scheduled for weekend Masses two months out of the year.
- Usher - Along with bringing up the gifts, handling the collection and distributing bulletings, ushers provide a welcoming presence to guests at our church. Those who have received confirmation are invited to usher. Volunteers are scheduled for weekend Masses two months out of the year.
- Altar server - Children in the third grade and over may train to be an altar server.
- Choir member - Our choir provides beatiful music for Sunday and holy day Masses. Men and women of all ages are welcome. Choir practice is once a month. Contact Lynn Havlicek at 952-758-4386 if interested.
- Keyboard assistant - The keyboard is programmed in advance for our Saturday evening masses when the choir does not sing. If you would like to be trained to operate this keyboard, contact Lynn Havlicek at 952-758-4386.
- Youth choir - Children of all ages are welcome to sing with other kids in the choir loft for some Saturday Masses, whenever the "Youth Choir" sign is posted on the door in the church entrance. There are no practices, you do not have to attend every week, and you do not need to let us know in advance if you will be there! Confirmation Students will receive one service hour per Mass. Parents are welcome to come up too!
